Open the meeting
Go to Meetings, select the meeting record and click Issue notice.
Attach the required documents
Attach the agenda, motions, and financial pack. StrataOwn validates the bundle against your state's required-document checklist.
Confirm the issued date
StrataOwn records the issued date against the meeting and starts a countdown to the meeting date.
Send to all lots
Owners with a verified email receive the notice immediately; lots without an email get a downloadable PDF for postal delivery — log the postage date back in the meeting record.
Watch the countdown
The Days remaining indicator turns amber if the period is below the statutory minimum and red if compliance is breached.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum notice period?expand_more
It varies by state and meeting type — typically 14 days for a committee meeting and 21 days for an AGM, but check the rules for your state in StrataOwn's notice-period reference.
What if I miss the statutory window?expand_more
The meeting may still proceed but resolutions can be challenged. The safer path is to reschedule and re-issue the notice with a fresh issued date.
How is the issued date recorded?expand_more
The issued date drives the days-remaining indicator and the compliance log; a deeper Notice period countdown guide is on the way.
