Notification preferences
How to control which emails and in-app alerts AppInfo.Name sends to you and to lot owners.
Before you start

You are signed in to StrataBuddy.
Open notification settings
Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner, then select Notification preferences. Alternatively, go to Settings → Notifications.
Configure alert categories
Toggle alerts on or off by category: Levy notices, Meeting notices, Compliance reminders, Maintenance updates, and Financial reports. You can also set your preferred channel — email, in-app, or both — for each category.
Set defaults for owners (Admins only)
Admins can configure the default notification settings applied to new owner accounts under Settings → Owner notification defaults. Individual owners can override these defaults from their own profile.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I turn off all notifications?expand_more
You can disable most notification categories. However, certain statutory notices (e.g. levy notices issued by the scheme) cannot be suppressed — they are required by law and will always be delivered to your service address.
Why am I still receiving emails after turning off a category?expand_more
If you are receiving emails from the strata scheme (not StrataOwn system emails), they are sent to your service address on the strata roll — they are not controlled by notification preferences. Update your service address if needed.
